What You Will Get
You will obtain the exotic scout rifle, Wicked Implement. Obtained via completing the secret mission hidden inside of the Deep dive activity. Instead of introducing an Exotic quest early in the season, the Wicked Implement missions have been made available closer to the mid-point. Note that, importantly, only one person in your fire team needs to have all three broken blades in order to unlock the Exotic quest. To obtain all three of the broken blades you would require catching the exotic fish on the EDZ, Nessus and also the throne world.
What Does It Do?
The Destiny 2 Wicked Implement perks and traits are:
- Creeping Attrition – Rapidly landing precision hits causes targets to become slowed (Exotic intrinsic perk)
- Exotic trait – While Creeping Attrition is active, landing precision final blows creates a Stasis shard that returns to you. Collecting Stasis shards refills the magazine.This makes it one of the many weapons to synergise well with stasis. Allowing you to consistently freeze and slow enemy combatants while refilling your magazine for doing so. This also has a lot of potential on the larger maps during a round of crucible or trials of Osiris. Allowing you to begin slowing players for landing shots on them.
Where Does It Come From?
- Fish for Whispering Mothcarp in the Throne World
- Fish for Vexing Placoderm on Nessus
- Fish for Aeonian Alpha-Betta Exotic fish in the EDZ
- Deposit the fish in the aquarium at the Helm to receive the Broken Blade of Cunning, Broken Blade of Strife, and Broken Blade of Ambition
- Load the seasonal Deep Dives activity
- Deposit the first blade into the statue just before the first encounter
- Deposit the second blade into the statue after the first encounter in the same room
- Deposit the third blade into the statue after the spinning blade between the first and second encounters
- When the Deep Dive finishes, a new door will unlock – enter it to begin the Whetstone encounter
- Select the Carve a Path of Violence option
- Clear the enemies and the two bosses within the time limit
- Claim Power from the Winnower statue to receive Wicked Implement
