The Beyond Light expansion of Destiny 2 is finally here, and it is hailed as one of the best updates the game has received over its entire history. It brought along a ton of new content, and much to the surprise of many, Bungie confirmed that they would be bringing some of the old weapons and locations from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2. The Palindrome is one of the old classics confirmed by Bungie to be making its appearance for the first time in Destiny 2. It is a weapon that falls into the hand cannon category and looks beautiful in what seems like a blue and orange color combination.
The Palindrome was first introduced back in Destiny 1 as an alternative to the Eyasluna, and it quickly became a fan favorite due to its aim assistance and great recoil control. And now that its return is confirmed, veteran Destiny players must hold on to their seat as it would be the same if not even better than the old version. The image revealed it would offer 400 attacks, which would be an upgrade as in Destiny 1, it offered 350 attack scores.
Furthermore, Bungie revealed in their blog that the Palindrome would be a Nightfall strike exclusive.
People who do not know what nightfall strikes are base versions of the standard strikes but with much higher difficulty resulting in harder versions of the usual missions. Bungie had also revealed that your character load-outs for each Nightfall Strike would be locked, meaning you cannot suddenly decide to switch your equipped weapons halfway through the mission.
