The malfeasance questline involves a series of 6 steps. These steps are the following:

1. Kill a Primeval in Gambit
2. Speak to the Drifter in the Tower
3. Defeat 25 Taken yellow bar enemies
4. Complete ‘The Corrupted’ Strike
5. Deposit Motes and win matches in Gambit
6. Defeat 25 opposing Guardians in Gambit, and team wipe as an invader yourself or have an ally do it three times

You can purchase a specific quest step you are looking for assistance with or you can select the “whole questline” option for a discounted price on the Malfeasance Exotic. Those of you returning may realise that the Malfeasance questline is different to what it once was. Since the arrival of the Witch Queen in Year 5, starting the Malfeasance quest is much easier – requiring you now kill one Primeval in a Gambit match rather than needing the special “Meatball” rare boss to spawn. The harder steps of obtaining the Malfeasance are the steps requiring Guardian kills in Gambit & the special version of The Corrupted Strike.
