Polyatomic is a brand new mid-tier camo that forms a part of the Mastery Camos grind in Modern Warfare 2. To unlock and get the Polyatomic camo in Modern Warfare 2 you will need to unlock Platinum camo for all weapons in the game and then complete a final mastery challenge for each weapon. This final challenge will differ between weapons and weapon categories, so you will need to reuse each of the weapons again after grinding. Polyatomic Camo is the third of four possible Mastery Camo types in MW2. Gold Camo is first, followed by Platinum, Polyatomic and finally Orion. Gold Camo alone shows real dedication to a specific weapon so polyatomic shows completely mastery of all weapons.

This is how to obtain the Polyatomic Camo:
First, you start by Completing Base Camos’ challenges which will unlock Gold Camo for your selected weapon.
Completing all Gold Camo Mastery Challenges for a weapon class for example; Assault Rifles, Marksman Rifles, or Sniper Rifles will unlock Platinum Camo for that weapon class. Completing the platinum challenge will obtain the Platinum Camo for your selected class.
Repeating the process and completing Platinum Mastery Challenges – which require 200 kills with each weapon equipped with Platinum Camo – for all weapons in that class will unlock Polyatomic Camo.
