In Season of the Seraph, Bungie launched another dungeon, this one is called the Spire of the Watcher, for D2 Year 5. This season centres around Rasputin and his secret bunkers and Golden Age technology found within, making this Mars dungeon a perfect setting for all those interested in the lore of D2. To access the Spire of the Watcher dungeon, head to Ikora at the Tower and pick up the Ares Desperado quest. The first objective is to complete the new dungeon which can be found via the Mars location in Savathun’s Throne World. Players that are unable to join session likely need to acquire the quest. Devilish recordings can be found throughout the dungeon and will award you with a triumph needed for the new WANTED seal.
There are only six collectibles in the entire Spire of the Watcher dungeon, and you will find all of them before the dungeon’s second encounter

The Spire of the Watcher Dungeon also has a master difficulty mode which has a suggested light level of 1610. You can likely get through this at light level 1586 and above but it will be significantly harder and will likely require good builds, teamwork and focus. You can expect to find the same encounters and bosses in the master version of the Spire of the Watcher dungeon but they will deal more damage and also all minotaur’s have now become overload champions which will be more aggressive than ever. This time the champions have been linked towards completing the encounters so you cannot ignore them like you could in previous dungeons as you will need to kill them to acquire specific buffs to progress the encounter. I would suggest bringing weapons that have the ability to overload. Those at the time of writing are Auto’s, scouts and SMGs. You can also use the Artefact mods for void and arc grenades to stun the overloads found within the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon *Master Difficulty.

Rewards from the Master Spire of the Watcher are similar to those you have come to expect from other master dungeons such as Artifice armour, which allows you to slot another artefact mod on to your armor. You can also expect to receive upon completion the catalyst for the brand new exotic bow which only drops from completions of Spire of the Watcher. Hierarchy of Needs catalyst can only be obtained once you have the Hierarchy of Needs weapon in your collections. Then you can go and get a completion of the Master Spire of the Watcher dungeon and obtain your brand new catalyst for your new exotic bow!
