Destiny 2 The Witch Queen, the next major expansion for Destiny 2 will be bringing with it a range of brand new exotic weapons and armour. As released on the 1st of February the Destiny 2: The Witch Queen – Weapons and Gear Trailer showed to us the Grand Overtune Exotic. It seems like it will be a heavy machine gun which seems to have a similar firing style/system to the exotic rocket launcher Wardcliff coil. With that in mind, the Grand overtune exotic could be an absolute must have due to its capabilities of shooting an unreal mass amount of rockets at the RPM of a fully automatic weapon. If the damage output of each rocket is similar to the Wardcliff Coil we may have a new DPS king due to the Wardcliff coil being meta a couple of times throughout the Destiny 2 life cycle. Bungie describe the Grand Overtune as a Slug launcher that charges full auto missiles, it appears that a well-aimed barrage can annihilate anything in front of you until the ammo runs out. They also state that you will require the Season pass for the Grand Overtune exotic when it releases alongside the Witch Queen launch.
