If you’re a Destiny 2 fan, but never played Destiny 1, there’s still a good chance that you’ve at least heard of Gjallarhorn. It is an Exotic Rocket Launcher that was so powerful that it was the answer to almost any fight in Destiny 1 and was seen as a requirement for getting into Raid parties. Especially during the Dark below era. When Crota was released. One of the most aesthetically pleasing and most powerful weapons to ever touch the Destiny universe is back, Gjallarhorn is a fan favourite and will be highly sort after when the weapon releases. Announced during the Witch Queen reveal included within the 30th Anniversary pack. The Pack sells for $24.99 and is available for pre-order on several platforms and storefronts. Gjallarhorn itself launches on Dec. 7. The Gjallarhorn will be released alongside the new dungeon and perhaps a halo crossover coming to destiny. Players who do purchase the pack will have access to a pirate-themed dungeon, an armor set inspired by the ominous Thorn Exotic Hand Cannon.
Will the famous wolfpack rounds be as powerful as they once were? Wolfpack rounds essentially had a new take on the cluster bomb perks you may be used to. They essentially split from the initial rocket detonation but instead of blowing up below your target they will track onto the target and detonate dealing mass amounts of damage! Rumours also suggest that the weapon may also return with random rolls.
With the Gjallarhorn returning in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, it is also known that the Gjallarhorn will have a catalyst upon its release. Not a lot is known about what benefits the catalyst will bring however speculation has begun!
