Atomgrad Raid Boosting
Special Ops Raid: Atomgrad
Call of duty said the following in their most recent blog post regarding the mid season update which adds the FIRST ever Call of Duty Raid.
Introducing the First Special Ops Raid: Atomgrad
Urzikstan: On the trail of their missing team, Price, Farah and Gaz make a grim discovery in an underground bunker.
Continuing from the events of the Modern Warfare II Campaign, the first Special Ops Raid is something that will take, in the words of the captain himself, “violence and timing.”
Those who successfully complete this Raid will unlock a familiar face as a brand-new Operator to use in Multiplayer and Special Ops, as well as in Warzone 2.0. It will also unlock a harder difficulty Playlist that will test even veteran Operators. You can expect to find plenty of Intel that awards additional cosmetic items, in addition to some intriguing data it provides about the Modern Warfare II universe.
Accessing a Raid requires a Raid Assignment, which can be earned through the following method(s):
– Complete a specific Daily Challenge either in Multiplayer or Special Ops.
– Place within the top 20 in any Warzone 2.0 Battle Royale Playlist.
– In DMZ, use the final extract helicopter with at least $30,000 in Cash.
Once a Raid Assignment is earned, that player — and whatever squadmates they choose to bring in — can access the Raid for a full week.
Although there is only one mandatory requirement for Raid access — the Raid Assignment.
Call of Duty also suggests the following for Raid Prep –
1. Warm up with Special Ops missions. Get familiar with how agents fight against you, how Special Ops Kits work, and the general strategies for completing a Special Ops run through its shorter missions. Completing them and earning Stars give you some permanent rewards as well, making this practice worth your time.
2. Tier up those Kits. Because Raids are part of Special Ops, it uses the Kit system. Having a high-Tier Kit means accessing those additional passive and active benefits during a Raid, increasing your options for survival and progression through it.
Now Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has expanded into adding more PVE encounters in to the Call of Duty franchise with the addition of Raids, which is very similar to Spec Ops but longer missions and ensure you have to have communication set up amongst your teammates since players must also solve puzzles to complete them. The Atomgrad Raid in Call of Duty MW2 is full of puzzles and enemies that will challenge newcomers and veterans alike.
Players can only start a Raid if they have a Raid Key and are in a premade party of three players (no matchmaking). Additionally, Raids are only available for players that own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 full game. Not just Warzone.
Players need to earn a Raid Assignment, before heading into the Raid via the main menu.
There are three ways to gain a Raid Assignment and earn access to the Atomgrad Raid in Modern Warfare 2:
Complete a specific Daily Challenge either in Multiplayer or Special Ops.
Place within the top 20 in any Warzone 2.0 Battle Royale Playlist.
In DMZ, use the final extract helicopter with at least $30,000 in Cash.
Once a player has completed one of these three objectives, they will earn a Raid Assignment. This is essentially a key that will allow players to take on the Raid for a week after earning it.
During the Raid, there will be additional Intel scattered throughout. This Intel is said to unlock additional cosmetic items, as well as new data that will shine a light on new elements of the Modern Warfare 2 story as a whole.
Objective One: Open Submarine Doors
Once players enter the Control Room, they’ll notice an electronic red sign with Russian letters, each one corresponding to a number. Players must use the CCTV Cameras (on the right of the red sign) and look for a video feed with more Russian letters. Players should write down the number corresponding to one of the letters on the red sign. To figure out the remaining two numbers, players must enter the room with the metal shutter. One player has to hold open the door by pressing the red button while another enters the room. Once inside, players must look through the CCTV Cameras again and find the final two numbers.
With all three numbers, players should use the large green computer to input the number sequence. The other two players must repeat these steps (the same player can’t input the codes more than once) and input the codes they uncover. Until you open the Sub doors.
Objective Two: Find a Way Through the Flooded Area
Players should grab the Oxygen Tank on the table since it’ll be the only thing keeping the whole team alive. Players will have to share the Oxygen Tank throughout this underwater section.
As players progress through the area, they’ll reach a gated door that requires one player to open it by holding down a red button (similar to the Control Room). After passing this point, players will reach a Safe Area with a suppressed pistol.
After leaving the Safe Area, players will come across several explosive traps. Players can swim past the explosives carefully, or one player (not the one with the Oxygen Tank) can sacrifice themselves since they’ll respawn at the Safe Area.
Players should continue swimming through the tunnels, following the arrows. Eventually, players will reach a new area (still underwater) with another puzzle.
Objective Three: Clear Armory and Input the Codes
Players will reach another Safe Area with loads of weapons and lethal/tactical equipment. Players should suit up before moving on since the following area.
One player should activate the Receiver Computer located in the middle of the area while the other two spread out between the two computer rooms. Upon activation, players will see another sequence of Russian letters.
Players will now have to decipher the Russian letters, similar to the 1st Atomgrad puzzle (the only difference is the 40-second timer that resets the entire sequence).
Objective Five: Wait for Blast Doors to Open
The final Objective in the Atomgrad Raid is to survive for four minutes until the blast doors open.
We suggest holding out just infront of the blast doors and have one player assigned to watching each side and the 3rd helping out where needed. There is an ammo box right next to the blast doors and the 3rd area where enemies push from doesn’t open until the final few moments of protecting the blast doors, when that area does open have the 3rd player watch that for the small waves of adds that do spawn. Once the timer has hit 0 kill the remaining enemies and then regroup at the door and enjoy your rewards!
